About
This is about fixing up a Dodge Sprinter Van for camping and taking a long slow trip from Massachusetts to the Southwest and then to Alaska, visiting many parks along the way. We left May 1st.
We are blogging about our trip, the things we see, and the people we meet along the way. There are 3 of us, Fred, Mary Anne (FM) and Effie, a Newfoundland dog.
Since we have spent a lot of time on the water, the occasional sea story will be told (most of them true). It is kind of interesting to think about cruising in a small boat compared to RV camping.
After being on the road for almost 2 months , I am finding it hard to blog as much as I want, but we are taking many photos and will catch up eventually. WiFi is usually available in the private parks, but not easy in the national parks.
With my Senior pass ($10.00 for life), we get in National parks for free and camping is half price - best reason I can think of to turn 62 (or more).
We just added a new page on random stuff in the blog format (What’s New)- click it in the right column.
These older photos are about some of the times on the water.
They will be changed as we go on the trip.
